Nhóm sinh viên từ Đại học Quốc gia TP.HCM đã thành công trong việc chế tạo siêu tụ điện từ vỏ sầu riêng, một phát minh có thể hỗ trợ hiệu quả trong y học cổ truyền.

Để đối phó với nguy cơ lũ và ngập lụt tại các khu vực tập trung đông dân cư ở vùng miền núi Bắc Bộ, TS Lê Viết Sơn cùng nhóm nghiên cứu tại Viện Quy hoạch thủy lợi đã thực hiện đề tài “Nghiên cứu đánh giá rủi ro lũ, ngập lụt và đề xuất các giải pháp phòng tránh, thích ứng cho các khu vực tập trung đông dân cư, đô thị vùng miền núi Bắc Bộ”.

Rác thải từ nông nghiệp đang gây ra ô nhiễm trầm trọng cho nguồn nước và bốc mùi hôi thối, ảnh hưởng đến môi trường không khí. Do đó, sản xuất vật liệu xây dựng từ phế thải là một trong những giải pháp hữu hiệu để thực hiện mô hình kinh tế tuần hoàn.

Một nhóm các nhà nghiên cứu khu vực miền Nam đã thành công trong việc sử dụng các phụ phẩm công nghiệp như bùn lắng, tro xỉ nhiệt điện than và xỉ lò đốt rác để tạo ra vật liệu san lấp mới có khả năng chịu lực thay thế cát san lấp.
